SUMMARY
This position is primarily responsible for selling tires, taking care of existing accounts and finding new business. This position is also responsible for controlling all aspects of serving customers by performing the following duties.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Core duties and responsibilities include the following

  • Sell tire and services.
  • Pick up and deliver tires.
  • Collect tires.
  • Other duties may be assigned.

This job has no supervisory responsibilities.

BUSINESS RELATED CONTACTS:

  • Credit Department - Get approval for transactions and direction on collections.
  • Service Department - Schedule service for customers.
  • Warehouse - Schedule pick up and deliveries.
  • Retreading- Schedule retreading and resolve product quality issues.

QUALIFICATIONS:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

LANGUAGE SKILLS:
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write business correspondence. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, percentages.

REASONING ABILITY:
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
